FLECARITE 100MG TABLET contains Flecainide which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiarrhythmics. It is used to manage Arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat such as Wolff-Parkinson White Syndrome), tachycardia (fast heartbeat) and fibrillation (rapid contractions of the muscles in the heart).

FLECARITE 100MG TABLET is not recommended in patients with heart disease such as heart failure, heart attack, heart valve problems, cardiogenic shock, electrolyte imbalance, Brugada syndrome (heart rhythm disturbance). Consult your doctor before taking it.

FLECARITE 100MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease, kidney disease, enlarged heart, chest pain (angina), severe low heartrate. Consult your doctor before taking it.

FLECARITE 100MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women unless considered clearly necessary. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.

DYTOR 100MG TABLET contains Torsemide which belongs to the group of medicines called Diuretics. It is indicated for the treatment of oedema associated with congestive heart failure, renal or hepatic disease and essential hypertension.

Oedema is a build-up of fluid in the body which causes the affected tissue to become swollen. The swelling can occur in one particular part of the body or may be more general, depending on the cause.

Prior to the treatment, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition.

DILZEM CD 120MG CAPSULE contains Diltiazem which belongs to the group of medicines called Calcium Channel Blockers. It is used to manage angina and hypertension. It also manages you from getting chest pain in future.

Hypertension (also known as high blood pressure) is a medical condition in which the force of the blood exerted against the walls of the artery remains very high and as a result it may lead to severe damage to the blood vessels supplying vital organs, such as heart, kidney or brain. If left unmanageed, it may cause serious complications such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke or even blindness.

Angina pectoris is a type of chest pain caused due to an inadequate supply of oxygen to the heart muscle. Symptoms include severe chest pain, tightness or heaviness with dizziness, fatigue, sweating, shortness of breath and fast heart rate.

During management with DILZEM CD 120MG CAPSULE your doctor will constantly monitor your kidney functions, blood pressure and blood sugar levels to avoid the risk of unwanted side effects. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while taking DILZEM CD 120MG CAPSULE as it may severely decrease your blood pressure.

PIVASTA 2MG contains Pitavastatin which belong to the group of medicines called Lipid-lowering drugs. It is used to treat high blood cholesterol levels (hyperlipidaemia) in adults and in children (aged 6 years or above) along with diet and lifestyle changes.

Hyperlipidaemia is a condition characterized by increased levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) in the blood. If left untreated, these fat particles can deposit in the blood vessels and can block the blood flow through them leading to various problems such as heart attack or stroke.

Pitavastatin reduces the production of bad cholesterol and triglycerides in the body by blocking the action of an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase which is involved in cholesterol production.

PIVASTA 4MG contains Pitavastatin which belong to the group of medicines called Lipid-lowering drugs. It is used to treat high blood cholesterol levels (hyperlipidaemia) in adults and in children (aged 6 years or above) along with diet and lifestyle changes.

COSART 50MG TABLET contains Losartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Angiotensin II receptor antagonists. COSART 50MG TABLET is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults and children & adolescents (aged 6-18 years).

It is also used to protect kidney in hypertensive type 2 diabetic patients and is also indicated for use in patients with chronic heart failure when ACE (angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors) medicines becomes ineffective to treat the disease. COSART 50MG TABLET is also used to decrease the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and thickening of left ventricle.

LIPVAS 40MG TABLET contains Atorvastatin which belongs to the group of medicines called Lipid-lowering drugs. It is used to reduce elevated high blood cholesterol levels (hyperlipidaemia) in patients when diet and lifestyle changes does not result in an adequate response.

Hyperlipidaemia is a condition characterized by increased levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) in the blood. If left untreated, these fat particles deposits in the blood vessels and hinders blood supply to vital organs which may lead to various problems such as heart attack or stroke.

By reducing blood cholesterol levels, LIPVAS 40MG TABLET can also prevent the risk of heart attack, stroke, angina or related health problems. LIPVAS 40MG TABLET can be used both in adults and in children (aged 10 years or above).

Along with the treatment, you must follow a cholesterol-lowering diet, lifestyle changes and regular physical activity as instructed by your doctor to achieve better results. Avoid consuming alcohol or grapefruit juice while taking LIPVAS 40MG TABLET as it may make LIPVAS 40MG TABLET less effective.

Before taking LIPVAS 40MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any lung, liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, thyroid problems or a family history of muscle disorders.

COZARTAN 50 TABLET contains Losartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Angiotensin II receptor antagonists. COZARTAN 50 TABLET is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults and children & adolescents (aged 6-18 years).

Before taking COZARTAN 50 TABLET, inform your doctor if you have a history of angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, throat and/or tongue) and/or suffering from excessive vomiting/diarrhoea, primary hyperaldosteronism (a syndrome associated with increased secretion of aldosterone hormone), kidney problems (such as narrowing of blood vessels to one or both the kidneys and/or heart problems (such as heart failure, cardiac arrythmia and coronary heart disease).

VALZAAR H 160MG TABLET is a combination of Hydrochlorothiazide and Valsartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when treatment with single agents is not effective.

If left untreated, it may cause serious complications such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke or even blindness.

CORDARONE X TABLET contains Amiodarone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiarrhythmics. It is used to manage uneven or fast heartbeats (like atrial flutter or atrial fibrillation), fast heartbeats which may happen suddenly and may be uneven only when other medicines either have not worked or cannot be used. It also manages Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (unusually fast heartbeats). Your doctor might want you to keep out of direct sunlight while taking CORDARONE X TABLET and for a few months after you have finished taking it.

Avoid consumption of alcohol and grapefruit juice during management with CORDARONE X TABLET. CORDARONE X TABLET is not recommended for use if you have signs of an allergic reaction including (a rash, swallowing or breathing difficulties, swelling of your lips, face, throat or tongue).

It is also not recommended to use if you have slower than usual heartbeat (called ‘sinus bradycardia’) or an illness called sino-atrial heart block, other problems with your heartbeat without a pacemaker fitted, are going to have a heart transplantation or have thyroid problems.

METOLAR 25MG TABLET contains Metoprolol, which belongs to the group of medicines called Beta-blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure, angina pectoris (chest pain), and heart failure. It is also used to treat arrhythmias or palpitations, and to prevent heart attacks and migraines.

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking METOLAR 25MG TABLET as it lowers blood pressure. METOLAR 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with asthma, COPD, severe bradycardia, second or third-degree heart block, cardiogenic shock, decompensated cardiac failure, sick sinus syndrome (unless a permanent pacemaker is present) and untreated pheochromocytoma. METOLAR 25MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, stroke, liver or kidney disease, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, and heart failure.

TELMIKIND 40MG TABLET contains Telmisartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It is used to manage essential hypertension in adults. High blood pressure that is not caused by any other condition is called essential hypertension. It is characterized by symptoms such as early morning headaches, nosebleeds, irregular heartbeat, vision changes, buzzing in the ears, fatigue, nausea and chest pain. It is also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack or stroke in adults who are known to have a reduced or blocked blood supply to the heart or legs and had a stroke or with a high risk of diabetes.

Your doctor may check your kidney function test, blood pressure and the amount of electrolytes (Ex. potassium) in your body prior to the management or at regular intervals during management with this medicine. TELMIKIND 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients having severe liver problems such as cholestasis or biliary obstruction (flow of bile from liver stops or slows). TELMIKIND 40MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients having diabetes, kidney disease, heart problems and raised aldosterone levels.

Carvistar 6.25 Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), moderate to severe heart failure, and angina (heart-related chest pain). Besides this, Carvistar 6.25 Tablet also reduces the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. High blood pressure is a condition in which the force of blood against the artery walls is very high. It will be an addition to the workload of the heart and arteries. If it continues for a long time, the heart and arteries may not function properly and damage the heart, brain, and kidneys' blood vessels, resulting in heart failure, stroke, or kidney failure.

Carvistar 6.25 Tablet contains Carvedilol, which acts by relaxing blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances like epinephrine or adrenaline. Thus, it lowers the raised blood pressure and keeps the heartbeat slowly and with less force, reducing the risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or other heart problems.

Take Carvistar 6.25 Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you on how often you take your tablets based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience diarrhoea, headache, weight gain, slow heartbeat, dry eyes, tiredness, dizziness, or low blood pressure. Most of these side effects of Carvistar 6.25 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.
