AZEE 250MG TABLET contains Azithromycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Macrolide antibiotics. It is used to treat mild to moderate susceptible infections caused by bacteria and other micro-organisms which includes chest, throat, nasal infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, sore throat and sinusitis.

It is also used to treat ear infections and skin & soft tissue infections (such as an abscess/boil) in affected individuals which is also indicated for use to treat sexually transmitted diseases such as cervicitis (caused by organisms such as Chlamydia trachomatis/ Neisseria gonorrhoea) in affected individuals.

AZEE 250MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to azithromycin, other antibiotics such as erythromycin/clarithromycin (macrolides), and ketolides. It is also not recommended for use in patients with a history of cholestatic jaundice/hepatic dysfunction.

Before taking AZICIP 500MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, myasthenia gravis (condition marked by weak muscles), heart problems, and/or kidney problems.

AZICIP 500MG TABLET should be used with caution during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy only if it is clearly necessary. It is also advised to be used with caution in breast-feeding woman as it is unknown whether the medicine gets excreted in the breast milk.

AZICIP 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children weighing less than 45 kgs which is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.

The most common side effects of taking AZICIP 500MG TABLET are stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, flatulence, dizziness, headache, and/or skin rash. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.

DOXX-L TABLET contains Doxycycline which belongs to group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used for the management of various bacterial infections like that of chest, lung or nose (Ex. bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis), urinary tract (Ex. cystitis, urethritis), skin (Ex. acne), eyes or sexually transmitted diseases (Ex. gonorrhoea, syphilis, chlamydia).

DOXX-L TABLET is also used to manage fevers associated with louse or tick bites and malaria (when chloroquine is ineffective). DOXX-L TABLET can also be used to manage certain infections like scrub typhus (a disease carried by small insects), Rocky Mountain spotted fever, travellers’ diarrhoea, malaria and leptospirosis.

Avoid consumption of alcohol during management with DOXX-L TABLET, as it may reduce the efficacy of this medicine. Before taking DOXX-L TABLET, inform your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis, systemic lupus erythematosus, liver or kidney problems, porphyria, diarrhea or suspected syphilis.

Tetralab Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes, skin, respiratory tract, urinary tract, etc. Tetralab Capsule is an antibiotic medicine containing tetracycline as an active ingred

ient. This medicine acts by inhibiting the growth of the infection-causing organism. Take this medicine for the prescribed dose and duration. You should take this medicine with food to avoid stomach upset. You should complete the entire treatment course with this medicine, as an incomplete course of antibiotics can result in treatment failure.

GERCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE contains Ampicillin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the ears, nose, throat, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, genital tract, stomach, blood, brain or skin and soft tissues.

It can also be used to manage typhoid fever, meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain), peritonitis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach) and endocarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart and its valves).

GERCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE should be taken on an empty stomach. It is important to take GERCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE for the stipulated duration instructed by your doctor to achieve better results even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.

During therapy with GERCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE, your doctor will periodically monitor your health condition through several blood tests/urine tests to access the improvement in your condition and to reduce the risk of unwanted side effects. GERCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE is suitable for use in adults and in children (aged 10 years or older; weighing 20 kg or more).

Before taking GERCILLIN 500MG CAPSULE inform your doctor if you have diabetes or any kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have blood cancer or any viral infections (such as cytomegalovirus infection) as a precaution.

Doxy-100 tablet is an antibiotic medicine containing doxycycline. It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the lungs, throat, airways, skin, eyes, and genitals.

Doxy-100 tablet or any antibiotic should not be used when you are not sure if the infection is due to bacteria; unnecessary use of antibiotics can make them ineffective for future treatment. Complete the course of antibiotics as prescribed by the doctor, or it may lead to relapse or return of the infection.

RCIFAX 550MG TABLET contains Rifaximin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used in adults with liver diseases to reduce the recurrence of episodes of overt hepatic encephalopathy. Overt hepatic encephalopathy is a neurological disorder caused due to accumulation of toxins in the blood because of liver damage (such as liver cirrhosis). It is characterized by recurrent episodes of hepatic encephalopathy (such as confusion, muscle problems, shaking and difficulty in speech) within the last 6 months.

RCIFAX 550MG TABLET is also used in adults to manage irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea. Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common gastrointestinal disease that affects the large intestine. It is characterized by altered bowel habits with persistent stomach pain or discomfort, diarrhea and bloating.

Rifaximin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used for gastrointestinal and liver diseases. It manages hepatic encephalopathy by managing the growth of toxin-producing bacteria in the digestive tract. This reduces toxin accumulation in the blood and manages the onset or recurrence of disorders caused due to toxin accumulation (such as hepatic encephalopathy). It also manages diarrhea associated with irritable bowel syndrome by killing the susceptible bacteria in the gut that causes infections.

Before taking RCIFAX 550MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver problems. You must also inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking RCIFAX 550MG TABLET.

AMBISTRYN S 1GM INJECTION contains Streptomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Aminoglycosides. AMBISTRYN S 1GM INJECTION is used to treat moderate to severe infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria which includes tuberculosis infection (caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria) and non-tuberculosis infections (caused by Pasteurella pestis/ tularensis, brucella, H. ducreyi, Klebsiella granulomatis, and/or H. influenzae bacterium) in affected individuals.

AMBISTRYN S 1GM INJECTION should not be received by patients allergic to Streptomycin, and/or other aminoglycosides.

Before receiving AMBISTRYN S 1GM INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have cranial (skull) nerve problems, vestibular nerve (responsible for motion and position) impairment, severe liver disease, and/or kidney problems (such as impaired kidney function, renal insufficiency, prerenal azotemia).

AMBISTRYN S 1GM INJECTION is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy and in women planning for pregnancy since the medicine may cause ototoxicity (damage to the hearing/balance organs) in foetus. The medicine is advised to be received with caution by breast feeding women since the medicine may pass through breast milk.

AMBISTRYN S 1GM INJECTION should be administered with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and is advised to be received with caution by elderly patients (aged 59-years and above) after consulting the doctor.

METROGYL 400MG TABLET contains Metronidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiprotozoal drugs. It is used to treat various parasitic infections in the body such as amoebiasis, giardiasis (parasitic infection causing severe diarrhea with stomach cramps), and trichomonas vaginitis (parasitic infection of the genital tract)

It can also be used to treat various bacterial infections affecting the blood, brain, lungs, stomach (Ex. H. pylori infection), pelvis, urinary tract, genital tract, gums and teeth and infected leg ulcers or pressure sores. It also helps in preventing post-surgical infections and infections following childbirth.

Take METROGYL 400MG TABLET during or just after meals. It is important to take the full course of the therapy to achieve better control over infection. Failure or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control. Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking METROGYL 400MG TABLET as it could increase the risk of dizziness and drowsiness.

RIFAGUT 400MG TABLET contains Rifaximin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat hepatic encephalopathy. Hepatic encephalopathy is a brain disorder caused due to chronic severe liver diseases (such as cirrhosis or hepatitis). It happens when the damaged liver cannot remove toxins from the blood properly. As a result, the toxins get accumulated in the blood, travels to the brain and causes brain damage.

Symptoms of hepatic encephalopathy includes confusion, forgetfulness, muscle problems, sweet or musty odour breath, shaking and difficulty in speaking.

The medicine is also used in the management of fever in neutropenia-associated infections.

Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop 5 ml belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye and ear infections. An ear infection occurs when bacteria invade the middle or outer ear, causing pain and inflammation. Bacterial eye infection occurs when pathogenic bacteria enter any eye portion, including the eyeball, conjunctiva, and cornea.

Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop 5 ml contains Ciprofloxacin which has bactericidal activity. It works by suppressing the enzyme DNA gyrase, which is essential for bacterial DNA synthesis. As a result, Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop 5 ml inhibits bacterial development and treats bacterial eye/ear infections.

CEPHADEX 250MG CAPSULE contains Cephalexin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (Ex. tonsillitis, pharyngitis and bronchitis), middle ear (otitis media), skin and soft tissue, bone and joints, reproductive organs and urinary tract (cystitis, prostatitis).

CEPHADEX 250MG CAPSULE can also be used to treat dental infections. Bacterial infections are generally characterized by fever, extreme tiredness, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere, headache, nausea or vomiting.

CEPHADEX 500MG CAPSULE contains Cephalexin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (Ex. tonsillitis, pharyngitis and bronchitis), middle ear (otitis media), skin and soft tissue, bone and joints, reproductive organs and urinary tract (cystitis, prostatitis).

CEPHADEX 500MG CAPSULE can also be used to treat dental infections. Bacterial infections are generally characterized by fever, extreme tiredness, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, groin or elsewhere, headache, nausea or vomiting.

Before taking CEPHADEX 500MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, a history of severe or prolonged diarrhoea or severe skin rash, peeling, blistering or mouth sores after taking CEPHADEX 500MG CAPSULE or other antibiotics. Inform your doctor if you are due for a blood or urine test as CEPHADEX 500MG CAPSULE may interfere with these tests.

CIPLOX 500MG TABLET on prolonged use can cause an overgrowth of other non-susceptible organisms. The medicine may produce a psychiatric reaction when taken for the first time. Caution should be taken in elderly patients while taking CIPLOX 500MG TABLET as it can result in prolonged QT intervals.
