MELACARE CREAM is a combination of Hydroquinone, Tretinoin, Mometasone furoate which belongs to the group of medicines called Depigmenting agents, Retinoids and Corticosteroids respectively. It is used in adults for the treatment of moderate to severe melasma (dark spots on the skin) in association with sun-avoidance measures, like using sunscreens and wearing protective clothing.

Melasma is one of the most frequently acquired hyperpigmentation (excess melanin production) disorders with symptoms such as symmetrical brown patches on sun exposed areas mainly on face.

It is advised to avoid exposure to sun during treatment with MELACARE CREAM for better results. While going out apply sunscreens and wear full covering protective clothes.

Before using MELACARE CREAM inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, lung or heart diseases.

GA-6 Cream is used to treat skin problems like acne (pimples), acne scars, melasma, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and photoaging (premature ageing of the skin caused by repeated exposure to UV radiation). GA-6 Cream has antibacterial, antioxidant,  keratolytic (removes warts and calluses), comedolytic (inhibits the formation of blemishes), and anti-inflammatory activity. 

GA-6 Cream contains ‘Glycolic acid’, which works by increasing the turnover rate of epithelial cells (cells that line the surface of the skin), eventually helping in peeling the skin and treating comedones (skin-coloured, small bumps due to acne).  GA-6 Cream kills bacteria, reduces inflammation, and unplugs blocked pores. It decomposes to release oxygen when applied to the skin. This oxygen acts as a bactericidal agent and kills Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria that causes acne.

GA-6 Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth, and nose. If the medicine comes in contact with any of these areas, rinse with water immediately. Do not use GA-6 Cream on sunburned, windburned, dry, or irritated skin. Common side effects of GA-6 Cream include dry skin, erythema (skin redness), burning sensation, itching, skin irritation, and skin rash.

TOPISAL 3% LOTION is a combination of Clobetasol propionate and Salicylic acid which belongs to a group of medicines called Topical Corticosteroids and Keratolytic agents, respectively. TOPISAL 3% LOTION is used to treat and provide relief from inflammatory manifestations of skin conditions such as psoriasis (skin condition marked by rash and itchiness) and eczema (skin inflammation) in affected individuals.

TOPISAL 3% LOTION is also used to provide relief from skin redness, itching and/or swelling due to various skin conditions. It is also indicated for use to treat other skin conditions such as dermatoses (skin lesion), seborrheic dermatitis of scalp (skin condition marked by scaly patches and red skin on the scalp) and/or ichthyosis vulgaris (inherited skin condition marked by dry & scaly skin) in affected individuals.

TOPISAL 3% LOTION is generally not recommended for use in patients allergic to clobetasol and/or salicylic acid. TOPISAL 3% LOTION is advised to be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is clearly necessary.

TOPISAL 3% LOTION is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 12 years). The medicine is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.

Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm belongs to the class of drugs known as retinoids (synthetic or man-made vitamin A). Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm is primarily used to treat acne (pimples) and sun-damaged skin. Acne is a skin condition that is common and occurs when hair follicles are blocked with dead skin cells and oil.

Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm contains tretinoin, also known as retinoic acid (a form of vitamin A) that loosens and unblocks pores on the skin’s surface by reducing the oil secretion in the skin. This prevents the formation of pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads.

Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm is for external use only. Your doctor will advise you on how often you use Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm based on your medical condition. Avoid contact of Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm with nose, mouth, eyes, ears, or vagina. In case Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience dry skin, peeling, redness, burning, itching, or stinging sensation of the skin. Most of these side effects of Tretin 0.025% Cream 30 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Thrombophob Ointment is an Anticoagulant, used as a topical treatment for thrombophlebitis (swelling of a vein due to blood clot), superficial thrombosis, acute tendovaginitis, and superficial bruises and for acceleration of absorption of hematoma. It contains Heparin Sodium and Benzyl Nicotinate as an active ingredients.

Heparin Sodium is an Anticoagulant and inhibits clot formation, promotes breakdown of clots and helps absorption of superficial micro clots. Benzyl nicotinate works by increasing the blood flow and increases the local absorption of heparin. Thus, it promotes healing and relives pain.

Apply Thrombophob Ointment as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Thrombophob Ointment should be applied in a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day. It can also be spread on a piece of gauze which is placed over the affected area. Don't massage or rub the Ointment in thrombosis and thrombophlebitis. Avoid contact with eyes.

Melacare Forte Cream 20 gm is a skin-related medication primarily used to treat melasma (dark brown patch on skin). Melasma also known as chloasma or mask of pregnancy, is a common skin condition that causes brown patches on the face. It is more common in women than in men. The discolored (grey-brown) patches occur mostly on the forehead, chin, nose, and cheeks.

Melacare Forte Cream 20 gm contains three medicines, namely: Hydroquinone (skin lightening or bleaching agent), Mometasone (corticosteroid), and Tretinoin (a form of Vitamin A or retinoids). Hydroquinone belongs to the class of skin lightening agents that works by decreasing the amount of melanin (a skin pigment) that is responsible for the darkening of the skin. Mometasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Tretinoin belongs to the class of retinoids (man-made vitamin A) that works by increasing the renewal of skin cells, which helps in the natural exfoliation of the skin’s outer layers.

A RET 0.025% GEL contains Tretinoin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Retinoids. It is used to treat acne. It can also be used to treat wrinkles, skin spots and rough skin. Acne is defined as a skin disease involving inflammation of the sebaceous follicles of the face and upper body, characterized by lesions on the face, back, upper chest and shoulders.

Before using A RET 0.025% GEL, inform your doctor if you have any sunburn, sun sensitivity or any other skin problems. A RET 0.025% GEL should be used in pregnancy only if specifically directed by your doctor. A RET 0.025% GEL should be used with caution in breastfeeding women.

IVREA 1 CREAM contains Ivermectin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiparasitic agents. It is used in adults (18 years or older) to treat pimples and spots on the skin found with rosacea. Rosacea is defined as a skin condition that causes blushing or flushing and visible blood vessels in your face. It may also induce small and pus-filled bumps.        

IVREA 1 CREAM should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. It is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before applying this medicine.    

BENOQUIN CREAM contains Monobenzone which belongs to the group of medicines called Depigmenting Agents. BENOQUIN CREAM is used to treat uneven appearance of skin (loss of skin colour) caused by vitiligo, which is a skin condition that occurs due to loss of brown colour (pigment) in skin resulting in white patches (on skin) in affected individuals.  

BENOQUIN CREAM is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Monobenzone. It is also not recommended for use in patients suffering from hyper-pigmentation (darkened patches/spots on the skin due to other pigments), skin discoloration pigments (such as sunspots, age spots, freckles), and/or skin trauma.

BENOQUIN CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if it is clearly necessary. It is also advised to be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged 12 to 18 years) after consulting the doctor.

The most common side effects of applying BENOQUIN CREAM are skin irritation, and allergic contact dermatitis (skin rash). Consult your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.

A RET HC CREAM contains Hydrocortisone, Hydroquinone, Tretinoin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, De-melanising agents, Retinoids respectively. It is used to treat moderate to severe skin hyperpigmentation conditions such as chloasma or melasma (brown patches on the face), freckles (small brown spots on the face) and senile lentigines or age spots (dark patches of skin on sun exposed areas such as on the face and back of the hands).

A RET HC CREAM is not recommended for use if you have bacterial infections like impetigo (red sores on the face), herpes simplex infection (viral infection with sores around mouth and genitals), chicken pox (viral infection with itchy blisters on face and body) or fungal infections. Consult your doctor before using it.

A RET HC CREAM is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast feeding women. A RET HC CREAM is also not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age. It should be used with caution in elderly people aged 65 years and above. Consult your doctor before using it.
