ACIVIR DT 200MG TABLET contains Acyclovir, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antivirals. It is used to treat chickenpox, shingles, cold sores, genital herpes and other herpes simplex infections to prevent infections in people with a weakened immune system.

Cold sores, (a virus causing contagious sores, most often around the mouth or on the genitals), genital herpes (a common sexually transmitted infection caused by the herpes simplex virus and symptoms include genital pain and sores, pain, itching and small sores).

Lamifil 250 Tablet can be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly as prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early, the fungus may continue to grow and the infection may return or worsen.

Symptoms of shingles include pain, burning, itching, numbness, tingling or sensitivity to touch, red rashes and fluid blisters. Genital herpes is characterized by pain, itching, small red or white blisters and ulcers on the genitals.
Famciclovir is a prodrug that undergoes rapid biotransformation to the active antiviral compound penciclovir. Penciclovir is an anti-viral drug which has inhibitory activity against Herpes Simplex virus types 1 (HSV-1) and 2 (HSV-2) and Varicella Zoster virus (VZV). Therefore, Herpes viral DNA synthesis and replication is selectively inhibited.

ANTIFLU 75MG CAPSULE contains oseltamivir, which belongs to the group of medicines called antivirals. It is used in adults, adolescents, children, and infants (including full-term new-born babies) for the management of flu (influenza) and is also used as preventive management in a global flu pandemic and when the seasonal flu vaccine may not provide sufficient protection.

ANTIFLU 75MG CAPSULE can be used when you have flu symptoms, and the flu virus is known to be spreading in your community. It can also be used to prevent flu in adults, adolescents, children, and infants above 1 year of age, but only if you have been in contact with someone affected by flu.

ANTIFLU 75MG CAPSULE should be taken with caution in patients with long-term respiratory or heart disease or kidney problems. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

VALAMAC 1000MG TABLET contains Valaciclovir, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antivirals. It is used in the treatment of shingles. It is also used to treat infections of the skin and mucous membranes (including the genital area) caused by the herpes simplex virus. It is also used to prevent cytomegalovirus infection and disease following organ transplantation.
