OMNACORTIL 10MG contains Prednisolone which belongs to a group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used in the treatment of inflammatory and auto-immune conditions such as allergies (including severe allergic reactions), inflammation (affecting lungs including asthma, blood vessels heart, bowel/kidneys, muscles and joints including rheumatoid arthritis, eye/nervous system), skin conditions, infections and cancers (such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma).

OMNACORTIL 10MG is also used to prevent organ rejection after transplantation, and in cases to boost steroid levels when the body is unable to produce natural steroids on its own.  It is also used to treat high calcium levels in the affected individuals which is generally characterized by symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, bone pain, and muscle weakness.

APP UP TABLET contains cyproheptadine, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihistamines. It is used in the treatment of allergic conditions such as seasonal and perineal rhinitis, hay fever, skin rashes, and allergic conjunctivitis.

Perennial rhinitis refers to specific allergens that cause an allergic reaction year-round, such as pet hair or dander, food allergies, or medicines. Whereas, seasonal allergies typically occur with weather changes or environmental changes such as pollen, insects, moisture, dryness, fungi, mold, etc.

OKACET TABLET contains Cetirizine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-allergic medicines. It is used to treat symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (such as nasal congestion, itchy nose, repeated sneezing and red, watery and/or itchy eyes) and urticaria (allergic skin condition causing reddish raised patches on the skin with severe itching) in both adults and in children (aged 6 years or above).

Take OKACET TABLET as directed by your physician. It is preferably taken during the evenings or at bedtime with or without meals. Before taking OKACET TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have epilepsy or difficulty in passing urine.

OKACET TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney impairment. It should be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary by the physician.

OKACET TABLET may cause excessive drowsiness and tiredness. Therefore, restrict yourself from engaging into activities that requires complete concentration (such as driving or handling heavy tools or machines) as a precaution.

Other most common side effects of taking OKACET TABLET are dryness of mouth, headache, tiredness, weakness and sore throat. Consult your doctor if they trouble you.

NASONEX 50MCG NASAL SPRAY contains Mometasone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. NASONEX 50MCG NASAL SPRAY is used to treat the symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and perennial rhinitis in adults and children aged 2 and older. This medicine is also used to treat nasal polyps in adults aged 18 and over.

Hay Fever is an allergic reaction which occurs due to breathing in pollen from trees, grasses, weeds, molds and fungal spores generally characterized by blocked or runny nose, sneezing and coughing.

Perennial rhinitis is an inflammatory condition which occurs due to sensitivity to a variety of things such as house dust mite, animal hair, feathers and certain foods characterized by symptoms such as blocked nose, sneezing, itching that might occur for an hour or more on most days throughout the year.

Nasal polyps are small growths on the lining of the nose which usually affects both nostrils generally characterized by runny nose, and stuffiness.

Avoid using NASONEX 50MCG NASAL SPRAY, if you are allergic to Mometasone, and or have an untreated infection in your nose such as herpes, recent injury or operation on your nose.

Before using NASONEX 50MCG NASAL SPRAY, inform your doctor if you have kidney, or liver disease. NASONEX 50MCG NASAL SPRAY should be used in pregnant women only if it is clearly necessary. It should be used with caution in breastfeeding women.

Your doctor will give the right dose depends on your child’s age, body weight and disease condition. Consult your doctor before using NASONEX 50MCG NASAL SPRAY.

The most common side effects of using NASONEX 50MCG NASAL SPRAY are headache, sneezing, nose bleeds, sore nose or throat, ulcers in the nose and or respiratory tract infection. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms gets worsen.

MONTAIR 10MG TABLET contains Montelukast which belongs to the group of medicines called Leukotriene Receptor Antagonists. It is used to treat and prevent the signs and symptoms of asthma and seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and in adolescents (aged 15 years or older). It can also be used to prevent bronchospasm (narrowing of airways) triggered due to exercise.

Asthma is a long-term respiratory disease in which your airways become inflamed, swollen and narrowed. It also causes excessive mucous secretion in the airways which makes it difficult for the air to pass through, leading to unpleasant symptoms like wheezing, difficulty in breathing, chest pain and/or cough.

Seasonal allergic rhinitis (also known as hay fever) is an allergic condition triggered due to exposure of oneself towards various allergens (such as pollens, dusts, mould or flakes of skin from certain animals). It is often characterized by inflammation of the inner lining of nose accompanied by nasal congestion, repeated sneezing and/or a red, watery or itchy eyes.
