LONITAB 2.5 TABLET contains Minoxidil which belongs to the group of medicines called Vasodilators. It is used to treat very high blood pressure (hypertension). Hypertension is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high. Symptoms include such as headaches, vision problems, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, nosebleeds, nausea and vomiting.

Prior to the treatment, your doctor may want you to take multiple blood pressure readings at regular intervals, monitor fluid and salt (electrolyte) levels in your body and do general health check-ups to understand your existing condition.

INDERAL 20MG TABLET contains Propranolol which belongs to the group of medicines called Beta blockers. It is used to manage hypertension, angina and arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm). It can also be used to control abnormal increase in blood pressure and/or heart rate caused due to various underlying conditions such as anxiety, overactive thyroid gland, phaeochromocytoma (tumours of adrenal gland) or Hypertrophic Subaortic Stenosis (thickening of heart muscles).

INDERAL  20MG TABLET primarily exerts its effects on the heart and improves blood circulation to the heart and to other parts of body. Therefore, it can also be used to manage heart attacks and migraine headaches. It also controls shakiness of the body by blocking abnormal nerve signals between the brain and the muscles. Before taking INDERAL LA 20MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any other types of anginas (unstable or Prinzmetal angina) or arrhythmia (such as Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome), any breathing problems, or diabetes as a precaution.

ROPARK XL 4MG TABLET contains Ropinirole which belongs to the group of medicines called Dopaminergic agonists. It is used to manage Parkinson’s Disease. Parkinson’s Disease is a brain disorder characterized by abnormal unintentional body parts such as tremors, loss of balance or coordination. It is caused due to low levels of a chemical called dopamine within the brain.

ROPARK XL 4MG TABLET can also be used to manage the symptoms of moderate to severe idiopathic Restless Legs Syndrome (irresistible urge to move the legs and occasionally the arms even during sleep or in rest position).

ROPARK XL 4MG TABLET is preferably taken with meals to avoid nausea and vomiting. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to certain withdrawal symptoms like depression, loss of interest, anxiety, tiredness, sweating or pain. Talk to your doctor if you experience any of the above-mentioned symptoms after stopping or reducing the dose of ropinirole.

KENACORT 4MG TABLET contains Triamcinolone which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids. It is used to reduce pain, inflammation and swelling associated with autoimmune skin disorders (Ex. contact dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, etc.) and joints disorders (Ex. rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, osteoarthritis).

It can also be used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorders (COPD). It may also be used as an adjunct therapy for adrenal insufficiency.

Take KENACORT 4MG TABLET with meals to avoid stomach upset. Before taking KENACORT 4MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have diabetes, hypertension, thyroid problems, muscle problems, intestinal diseases, fungal or viral infections, fits, osteoporosis or any mental illnesses as a precaution.

CALPOL 650MG TABLET contains Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Analgesics and Antipyretics. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain (including headaches, backache, toothache, severe nerve pain, sore throat, period pain, low back and leg pain, muscle, connective tissue and joint pain, symptomatic relief of sprains, strain, joint swelling and stiffness). It is also used to lower fever (high body temperature) and relieves the symptoms of cold or flu.   

Before taking CALPOL 650MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you or your child have liver or kidney problems or any allergies. It should be used with caution in patients with liver problems due to alcohol to manage the risk of liver damage.

CALPOL 650MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women only if clearly advised by the doctor and can be used in breastfeeding women. CALPOL 650MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children less than 10 years of age and should be used with caution in elderly patients.

COLCHIHEAL 0.5 TABLET contains Colchicine which belongs to a group of medicines called Antigout agents. COLCHIHEAL 0.5 TABLET is used in adults, in the short-term treatment of gout attacks and to prevent gout recurrence. It is also indicated in familial mediterranean fever (FMF) to prevent fever attacks and amyloidosis (a rare protein disorder that interferes with normal functioning of organs). Gout is a common and complex form of arthritis (joint pain) which is characterized by sudden, severe attacks of pain, swelling, redness and tenderness in one or more joints which most often occurs in the big toe. Familial mediterranean fever is a genetic disorder that causes recurrent fevers and painful inflammation of the abdomen, chest and joints.

Colchicine is an antigout agent which works by lessening the buildup of hard uric acid crystals in the joints by reducing the uric acid level in the blood which are needed for the formation of hard uric acid crystals that cause pain in joints resulting in the decreased swelling and relief from pain in the joints. It also works by preventing the occurrence of pain in the abdomen, chest or joints in patients suffering from familial mediterranean fever by decreasing the production of amyloid protein which is an abnormal protein that forms due to a rare protein disease called amyloidosis which causes interference in the normal functioning of an organ. Along with this treatment, your doctor might advise regular blood tests to check for any occurence of blood disorders.

Myfortic 360 mg Tablet is used to prevent the body from rejecting a transplanted organ such as a kidney, heart or liver. Transplant rejection occurs when the recipient’s immune system identifies the transplanted organ as a ‘foreign object’ and attacks it. If it is not treated promptly, it may cause irreversible damage.

Myfortic 360 mg Tablet contains ‘Mycophenolate sodium’ used in the treatment of organ transplant rejection along with another immunosuppressant and anti-inflammatory agent. It inhibits T and B lymphocytes (white blood cells that attack foreign cells) and suppresses antibodies' production (identify and kill foreign cells). These effects suppress the immune system so that the transplanted graft is not rejected.

Take Myfortic 360 mg Tablet as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as diarrhoea, cough, muscle pain, low blood pressure, fever and respiratory infections. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
